Detroit ’67, the buzzed-about play by hot, emerging playwright Dominique Morisseau is headed to Harlem. In a collaboration between Classical Theatre of Harlem, National Black Theatre (NBT) and The Public Theater—first envisioned fifty years ago by Dr. Barbara Ann Teer and Joe Papp, the founders of NBT and The Public Theater respectively—the show heads to the National Black Theatre on Saturday, March 23 after its run at The Public. The Harlem run will be the continuation of its world premiere.
