The purpose of this organization is to foster within this important area a creative environment in the fields
of literature, art and architecture in a socially interesting and interactive way,
bringing downtown chic to uptown groove.

RENAISSANCE IN MOTION’s events and lectures range from poetry readings with music and lectures about the Harlem Renaissance to wine tastings.

Each lecture is held in one of the most exquisite restored brownstones of Harlem, and each is followed by a cocktail party.
Attendance to each lecture is very limited to keep the exclusive and social character of these events, so we always ask for a RSVP and pre-payment.
