Harlem Opera Theater, in partnership with the Church of the Intercession, will present a Kwanzaa Celebration. A tribute to the African American culture. A holiday which is celebrated December 27th to January 1st. Seven candles in the kinara symbolize the seven principles of Kwanzaa. Unity, Self - determination, Creative work and responsibility, Cooperative economics, Purpose, Creativity and Faith.  We invite you to hear the voices of Harlem Opera Theater present opera and the music of our Kwanzaa Celebration.
