The Apollo Theater Academy Arts Administration Internship is a 10-week paid opportunity designed for high school seniors interested in exploring careers in the arts and entertainment industries.

This immersive internship allows students to work alongside Apollo Theater administrative staff, gaining firsthand experience in arts administration, programming, and event production. Interns will learn how a world-class performance venue operates and how impactful programs and events are developed — from initial concept to final execution.

As part of the program, interns will collaborate as a cohort to help create the Apollo’s signature summer youth event, Teen Takeover, building leadership, teamwork, and professional skills along the way.

This internship is ideal for students passionate about arts, culture, and behind-the-scenes creative work, and offers valuable exposure to potential career pathways within cultural institutions.
