An intimate evening of live jazz and neuroscientific discovery that explores how the unconscious mind processes grief. Through the lens of Dr. Noam Schneck’s research, audiences will reflect on the “hidden” map of loss and how the brain creatively adapts. Acclaimed pianist and vocalist Kelly Green and her quartet perform original compositions connecting music and emotional experience. This program is presented by Columbia University’s Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute in partnership with the National Jazz Museum in Harlem.
