FreedomWalk2026 honors Harriet Tubman's legacy and the enduring path toward freedom. When walkers arrive in NYC, (having walked from Maryland through Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey on their way through New York State to Canada) there will be a sacred commemoration at Mother AME Zion Church.
The Freedom Walk 2025 is a commemorative walk to honor the legacy of Harriet Tubman and others who worked on the Underground Railroad. The walk will start in Maryland, travel through Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, culminating in Canada, much as those brave souls did in the 1800's. The halfway point is NYC, where we will gather to celebrate at the Mother AME Zion Church in Harlem.
Join the #FREEDOMWALK2026 Sacred Midway Point in NYC for an epic in-person celebration of unity and justice!
