First Theater Festival in East Harlem dedicated to the human psyche
Posted March 25, 2019
From Friday, April 19, to Sunday, April 28, six different plays that explore the human psyche will be presented as part of Frenzy Fest in El Barrio's ArtSpace PS109. Frenzy Fest is an innovative concept that seeks to promote multicultural dialogue, freedom of creative expression, and tolerance for community members who experience mental disorders such as: agitation, delirium, fury, hysteria, and madness as a result of a psychotic condition, as a result of drug or alcohol abuse. Furthermore, in the complexity of the mind, almost all human beings can experience temporary madness or violent mental and emotional agitation without necessarily being diagnosed as a psychotic person.
