Broadway Presbyterian was founded in 1825 in what was then the frontier of New York City. A passion for engaging the theological and social issues of the day marks our 175-year history. The Presbyterian Church, USA (PCUSA) is a Protestant denomination with roots in Scotland and Swiss Calvinism.
