About Camille Thurman:
Camille Thurman is a New York City–based composer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist recognized as a leading voice in contemporary jazz. Known for her fluid tenor saxophone playing and inventive vocal style, she also performs on bass clarinet, flute, and piccolo. Her sound has drawn comparisons to legends like Joe Henderson and Dexter Gordon, while her vocal artistry reflects the influence of Ella Fitzgerald and Betty Carter.
