The Harlem African Burial Ground team wants to share with you an exciting event that we're hosting next month:

You are invited to learn more about the story of the Harlem African Burial Ground through a public screening of Unearthing Our Legacy Together, a documentary film sharing the story of this sacred site and the years of advocacy to get this site closer to permanent recognition.   

Please join us at the Schomburg Center on Friday, August 21st at 6pm for a special screening of this story. Afterwards, we will host a panel discussion with members of the project team who will discuss the project’s archaeological fieldwork, community engagement, and plans for the future memorial and cultural education center.
